Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They let the site remember information between page loads — for example, that you are signed in. SC Sentinel at sc-demo.xyz uses a minimal set of cookies, all of which are strictly necessary for the site to function.
Authentication / session cookies — set when you sign in. These cookies hold your encrypted session token and are required to keep you logged in as you navigate the app. They expire when you sign out or after a period of inactivity.
Theme preference — stores your light/dark mode choice so the UI renders in your chosen theme on the next visit. This cookie contains no personal data and persists for one year.
Language preference — stores your selected display language (English or French) so the site shows the right language on your next visit. Contains no personal data and persists for one year.
SC Sentinel does not use advertising cookies, social-media tracking pixels, or any third-party analytics scripts that set their own cookies. We do not share cookie data with ad networks or data brokers.
You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to alert you when cookies are being sent. Most browsers also let you delete cookies after the fact through the privacy or history settings. Note that disabling the session cookie will prevent you from signing in.
For guidance specific to your browser, visit the help pages for Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge — each provides a straightforward cookie management interface.
If we introduce new cookies we will update this page and revise the last-updated date below. Because all cookies we use are essential, we will notify you by email before any material change.
